Today's collage portrait is Lon Chaney as the man in the beaver hat in LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT (1927). Lon Chaney created his own make-up for this role.

The element I like best about these is the bright color "wash" behind each character. They're all different colors, but all similar in color intensity and they aren't just stylish, but they tie all the collages together.

Which is not to say I don't think the work on the characters is amazing. I can't believe what you pull off with textures.

I love the shadow on the wall! Sometimes it's those little touches and attention to detail which need to be celebrated and recognized as great.
