Jill Thompson's Scary Godmother

I'm a big fan of artist, Jill Thompson's work, and particularly her Scary Godmother works. Presented as books, comics and two animated television movies, Jill is hoping to expand into providing some quality merchandising beginning with a really amazingly well-crafted Scary Godmother doll. She has a Kickstarter campaign running right now, and I urge everyone to take a look at her video, as well as the accompanying incentives. You'll notice right away how passionate she is about her work, her fans, and this project. You'll also notice what a fantastic doll it is, and how affordable it is, especially in comparison to similarly sized corporate licensed dolls.

The above image (which you can view larger by clicking on it) is a cut paper collage piece that I made for the campaign, which will be included in a book of Scary Godmother pin-ups. The original will also be offered as one of the incentives, but I don't know for how much, or when, if interested, contact Jill via her Kickstarter page. It measures approximately 25" x 12" in an edition of one.

Check out the Kickstarter page here for more information.
